IDP90 — Privacy
What we collect
Names, emails, and roles for adults (parents, coaches, admins). For players we collect the development data needed to operate the product: age group, team, assessments across the Four Pillars, goals, and session notes from the player's coaches.
Children under 13 (COPPA)
Players under 13 can only be added by a parent or legal guardian, and we record the verifiable parental consent on the player's record. See the COPPA notice for details.
Students in schools (FERPA)
Where IDP90 is used inside a school or college program, we operate as the school's service provider. The FERPA notice describes how educational records are handled.
What we never do
We don't sell player data. We don't serve third-party ads. We don't use player data to train third-party AI models outside the product features the club has opted into.
Your controls
Parents can archive a player account at any time. Club admins can remove access for staff. Email privacy@idp.soccer for deletion, export, or access requests.
How we think about kids' data
Kids' data is not the product. The commitments below apply to every player on the platform — they don't depend on the customer's tier or the program's size.
COPPA on day one
Every player under 13 starts with verifiable parental consent. Parents can inspect, export, or delete the record at any time.
FERPA-aware for schools
When a program is a high school or college, development data is treated as part of the student's educational record. IDP90 acts as a school official with a legitimate educational interest — only the program sees the record, not other programs on the platform.
Parents control sharing
A club only sees a player's record while the family has actively linked them. Remove the link and the club's access to new data ends immediately. Historical entries are retained as part of the audit trail, consistent with educational-records and COPPA retention requirements.
